While I was waiting for my storage substation to become available,
I took a break from sorting,
And did some traveling....
Towards the north of New Mexico to a town named Taos...
Seriously one of my most favorite places to BE
and as we have been
Praying for It
It rained
Buckets
heavy as rocks
and
we
Rejoiced......
as did the Flowers
and the Insects
along the Mountain's path
and in town...
Ahhhhh,
New Mexico
I love you.
i love new mexico too... taos is a wonderful place.
ReplyDeletethere is so much to enjoy in new mexico .
lucky you .
Yes Kathy, at every turn, there is diversity of landscape and culture...ancient and modern. I feel more blessed and grateful than lucky. Moving here was not the easiest thing I've ever done...
Deleteas an artist new mexico is inspirational to both my husband and i . we have traveled to this wonderful place since 1970 . living there has never been an option.
Deleteso i just soak up all i can when i am there .
Oh, gosh......I was never here in the 70's. There are so many stories told of folks who came in that magical time, and stayed. They are legends in Taos. I'm thinking you may relate to my next post. Where you are is not so bad either!
DeleteOh...! I was in the vicinity, in Santa Fe, in April. You have triggered sweet memories for this Canuck.
ReplyDeleteYes, the vicinity, but not exactly the place. Taos is a bit out of the way ....and a trek to get to. Perhaps a destination the next time you visit?
Deletelove
