I have resolved....
over and over...
that I want to keep a stitching project in hand.
(that keeps in mind that I have throughout my life anyways.......)
but since last summer.....when I was blessed with a Shakerag experience......
(since my first with India Flint...)
this time with Natalie Chanin and Diane Hall.......
I stitched.....
this.
I can't tell you how much work it was to get to this place....
I really can't..........
but I can tell you....
that I know there are those
who
are on this journey
with
me....
oooh lovely.
ReplyDeleteyep.....it's amazing what can be done with two lovingly worn extra large men's t-shirts!
ReplyDeleteYou gave me a wish to try my hand at this technique. The results are stunning.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad.....it's worth the effort....
DeleteI can well imagine how much hard work this piece has taken.... and so worth it. It really is beautiful. I'm intrigued by the Petoskey Stone..... and followed the link to find out more.
ReplyDeleteThank You! Honestly I think all the hand stitched projects I've seen turn out this way, that is, 'beautiful'. And what a surprise to me as I researched the 'stones' a little more....that Michigan was once below the Equator!
DeleteI love Alabama stitch reverse applique. Well done you.
ReplyDeleteOoooh! Just beautiful.
