Yosemite.......respite continues

and if Point Reyes were not enough of a blast of Nature

after 4 days there

we headed inland

to 

Yosemite National Park

This is the third time I've visited the park in less than two years 

and the first time in the spring.

California is in a drought like many of the western states

and there was not the normal abundance of snow that feeds these magnificent waterfalls

however, if there is a time to see them flow, it's in the Spring

and last week we were blessed with an abundant show of water cascading off the ridges of cliffs

(a wash of water so refreshing to see as I sit here now in central New Mexico's 

90 degree heat imagining a rain dance)

But I think the highlight for me was walking and meditating among the ancient

Giant Sequoia

and experiencing the ephemeral blooms of the Pacific Dogwood 

after 6 days in the park we sat for the last sunset of our journey......

 rested, healed and energized

When I was in New Zealand I met an amazing healer.

That offered me the delightful opportunity to stitch these little stones from bits of silk I dyed last fall (which would be October for us in the north) with leaves from central New Mexico....

Among many much appreciated messages from friends....sending condolances and wishes for a Happy 2012........I received a note from a friend........wondering about the significance of the 555, three little birthday cakes in my last post......and that sent me to Doreen Virtue's, Angel Numbers 101 to look it up.

And what did she have to say?

"Huge changes are rumbling throughout your entire life! To keep these changes on the highest possible course, be sure to keep your thoughts positive, and stay centered in prayer and affirmations."

Well, gee......no kidding about the huge changes!  And a nice reminder about positive thoughts, prayers and affirmations.......

My morning affirmations go like this.....

After saying,  "I love you Marianna", preferably into a mirror, a la Louise Hay.......and my good friend who doesn't like to be mentioned.....very good advice........and very difficult at first....but works beautifully.

OK......after that......I say........."I flow easily in Change, I flow easily in New Directions, I flow easliy in New Experience"........then I say.........."I trust in the Process of Life.......all that I need is being taken care of, I am Safe."  and then.........I say........"I am perfect, whole and complete. I am one with Source".  I added the last one recently.....and it is so comforting to hear.....and personal to me.....would be different for you....

So that is how I do it......and I have to admit I did that every morning for almost two years.....and once I made my  move to where I live now.......I slacked off a bit.......but now I see it's good to keep saying them.......and perhaps adding another verse........

And now you know I believe in Angels.....and Louise Hay....and affirmations....and take advice from wise friends.....and I can say that has changed my life.

Tomorrow I'm off to Houston to rekindle relationships with my sibs and their kids and figure out a way to memorialize our Dad.............using the words of my sister, "in Forgiveness, Acceptance and Love."

Need I mention she is also an Angel?

And it must be noted, we are not 'Texans'.  Another story.....I digress......

Be back soon.......with more focus on Clarity and Acceptance.........and with the inspiration of that email I received today..........a committment to long walks.........for clarity......

Admittedly easier with a Dog........which I don't have......

Oh and the real significance of the three birthday cakes, for those who don't know...........my delicious grand daughters three turned 5.......on the same day I was also born........and I am driving that stake into the ground because I can and it seems important.......birthdays never meant so much until now....!  And a profound Thank You to their Mom and Dad for making that possible!

It was love at first sight.....a year ago......when I first caught a glimpse of her......She reminded me of an Ecstatic Posture....... and Marilyn said she should be with 'me' now.......if I would have her.

I feel I have a new companion here.........who seems to fit in quite well........

OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm.............................

..............I've been quiet this week.  Very quiet.

For Christmas I was gifted a CD of Crystal Bowls Chakra Chants......and have been pretty much playing this sound in my little abode day and night for many days.......and nights...........this level of calm is amazing to experience...........

So what is spinning in my head as the New Year is quickly approaching..........the big Long Awaited 2012!?

Mostly that I have had a really really BIG year here. I mean REALLY big.  Probably the biggest year of my life in terms of changes and experience.......and I have a long list of people to thank.........And I hear I must first Thank MySelf.......for saying YES to accepting a really big year.............for "Buying the Ticket" to quote the 'Griffin'.

And how do you say thank You?  A really really really big Thank You........make it Big Enough...........and yet soft enough to be heard by Angels? and the Souls they're meant for.   How does one do that?

So I would like to try now and thank these two gal pals...........Textile Artist, Teacher and Writer,  India Flint..........and Energy Healer, Teacher and Artist, Elaine Grohman.........for sending the signals and connections that I was fortunate enough to pick up on........signals that set my journey in motion and in purpose down under for over two months.......and to Paula Perleman.....it is under her guidance and friendship I have learned to connect with Spirit...........

And to all of my friends, family and hosts who have have an interest in and support what I do, who I am and where I have gone this past year..........who are not so public........Thank YOU and Kisses and Giant Hugs to all of You!  You know who you are!  And for those of you following this blog who don't know me!  God Bless YOU! A Thunderous THANK YOU! to you too! I am so grateful to be in your energy field!

...........And now I'm off to ponder a bit more about this past year........so I can be done with it and move on to the next ASTONISHING year! ......Which I've been gently reminded will be 2011!

In Joy.....................

On Manifesting.........................

Many times on my journey, the conversation has turned to 'manifesting'...........in other words, the subject is how to attract that which you desire into your life.  I often say "I am a 'Master Manifester'".....now I say this jokingly......not taking myself that seriously, but honestly, the record shows I AM pretty good at it..................

I met a new friend in Bali who calls herself an Intuitive Healer...............As we were discussing this idea, she was impressing the importance and meaning of words to me.  I exclaimed, as I do often, that "I am on an Amazing Journey".  She said, "Of course you are. I have heard you say that several times. You are attracting it by saying that.".  She also went on to say that my journey was "A Maze with Zing".  And that it is.  This is not the first time I have had had the importance and deeper meaning of the words we use impressed upon me...................."Elaine, are you there?"

And as I further pondered this idea..............I realized that when I'm not saying, "I'm on an Amazing Journey", I'm saying, "I'm SO Lucky"........or if I feel 'Lucky' is a word I should not be using..........for some reason it is often thought too trite.........I say, "I am SO Fortunate", or "SO Blessed", or "I Love My Life"...............you get the idea......and that seems to manifest more of it.   It's so interesting how that works............and I guess the trick of it...........if it is a trick............or the 'key' to it is, that I really BELIEVE it.  I am SOOOOOOOOOO Grateful......so Blessed.......blah, blah...........and on and on and on it goes.  Believe me it has not always been this way............I've had my fill of manifesting the undesirable stuff too.

And that reminds me of my last post.........the part where when asked if I'm traveling "Alone"...I say, " I'm meeting friends".............well that has happened again and again......meeting Friends.......but they are NEW friends.........and I am so Blessed.  For all my Friends....................I am so Blessed.
