LOVE rocks.......

When I was in New Zealand I met an amazing healer.

'their message' relayed to me through Her was.....

"LOVE is in everything.....

even the Rocks....."

Thank goodness for Jude Hill

and her little project (not)..........

That offered me the delightful opportunity to stitch these little stones from bits of silk I dyed last fall (which would be October for us in the north) with leaves from central New Mexico....

with LOVE to all those who need special healing just now......

to join in Jude's stitching fun......see what she is up to

'round the May Pole............

I believe this has been the busiest spring ever in my life........hugging my grand daughters in Michigan with some visits to my 'stuff' in the storage units in April seems a blur......

Once back home I was able to light long enough in my dusty town to visit a wise looking

puff ball....

a Great Horned owlet who was pushed out of his nest high atop the

Quarai Monument.......(click here for updates and more photos)

and that day was also filled with....

'Bull Snake' sitings......several more than one!

an opportunity, by the way, for my friend Danielle to point out the difference between Bull and Rattle Snakes.....which is a good thing to know in these parts.....as  the Bull Snake has a narrow head and round pupils (as though I would get close enough to investigate) and of course no 'rattle'!.......however their markings are similar........and the Rattle Snake.....(I was delighted to see one in captivity at our local hardware store)........has a triangular head that holds it's venom sacks.....slits for pupils.......and of course a large rattle on it's tail.........that, ummmm.....rattles loudly..... and all of this knowledge is a bit clouded now by learning from the 'hardware store lady'....that frequent sitings of Rattle Snakes that do not rattle.......and Bull Snakes that are able to imitate Rattle Snakes......are complicating things........a bit.

And that welcome interlude came amidst helping my Dearest prepare for his daughter's wedding....

which culminated in a two week 'push' for readiness.......resulting in most beautiful and joyous wedding....

of two kind and loving souls.....

...and as those things go......as we have hardly seen a drop of rain in these parts in the last year.......both days of rehearsal and wedding.....saw downpours and hail that drenched the events.......and then the sun came out to light up a most stunning rainbow........as these things go.....

and then two days later.....we rushed off to visit

Our Nation's Capital.....

And now......after a day of recuperation.........and study......as I have signed on to a 6 month course with Jean Houston.......to learn of our part in this expansive Universe.....
things Spiritual.......and Supreme Destiny........
I am off to  Silver City, New Mexico........and back again for Memorial Day festivities with new friends..........and hopefully a few weeks of making before I head off again in June..........

and to quote Gilda....

"It's always

Something..."

and that makes me

smile.

Happy Memorial Day!
